This Dec, 2009, Dr. Alex Shvartsman has completed the educational requirements to achieve the Mastership Award of the Academy of General Dentistry.  The Mastership Award is achieved after attaining the Fellowship Award and completing 1,1000 Continuing Education (CE) hours of AGD approved courses. 400 hours have to be hands on or participation courses. 600 hours have to be in specific disciplines as dictated by the AGD. Dr. Shvartsman will be attending the Mastership Awards ceremony in New Orleans this summer.  Out of approximately 170,000 in the USA a little under 2000 dentists have achieved the Mastership Award.  It is truly a great and rare  honor.
